The following text and translation covers page 23 of Thein Pe Myint's short story "ငွေစိန် လှေလှော်ရင်း တက်ကျိုးခြင်း", which I have scanned from page 351 of "ဝတ္ထုတိုပေါင်းချုပ်သစ်" [A new collection of short stories]. The last sentence finishes on the following page with the words "အကြောင်းမျာ ရှိသည်။".

Translation:
"Well, about that, let it be. Don't talk anymore about him withdrawing the pledge. And furthermore, don't look anymore for someone who would give a pledge. I will quickly inspect the case. Then he will quickly be freed, of course."
"Even saying the word 'quickly' will take a long time, of course, barrister, sir."
"Yeah, it will take a little time, of course, mate."
"In the detention centre he will face much suffering. And I will face much suffering outside."
"Since that's the case, it's of course like that. However, let's do as much as can be done, of course. If suffering is experienced now, it won't be so bad. While suffering is being faced now competence will be able to develop. As for his shop, with him being in jail, don't close it. Always keep it open."
After Ngwe Sein was gazing for quite some time she let out a deep exhalation.
"It's so difficult, barrister, sir. As for me, I want to flee from that environment. If I have the shop open there will be some trouble. [It would be good ?] to steel the tray on which the sandals are placed from the place where I put it at night and burn it down, and I want to be far away from them."
"Please consider. After running far away, what would you do? If you don't have work, with what will you eat? How would you be able to help your husband? Just keep the shop open. You must dare to defend against them."
"It's difficult, barrister sir. They have many ways to follow after want they want."
Without being able to continue speaking the words drowned out. Her eyes that were round and bright became wet with tears.
