Chapter 1

The Ancient Myanmar Social System

All world history scholars are in agreement that the route of human history will continue to sequentially develop and transform just like the sequential passage and transformation from ancient to new social systems.

Regarding the advancement and transformation of human history, history researchers have studied and learned about ancient times and while distinguishing [historical] signposts, they have noted that after successively transforming through the wild era (or ancient communal system) from 5550 to 2700 BC, the feudal system from 1800 BC until 475 AD, and after that the feudal landlord system from 850 until 1500, and the capitalist system from 1650 AD until 1900 AD, in 1917 human history advanced and transformed into the path of the new socialist system, which is a new signpost of history.

As Myanmar emerged in human history, following for the most part and transforming according to the [standard historical] path, the ancient social systems can be studied and distinguished.
