Who could Saw Khin take as a husband? That problem came back as something to think about.

There were two men trying to woo Saw Khin. One of them was a man called Ko Myay Aye who was a bus driver. Ko Myay Aye was an unmarried bachelor. He was about 30 years old and a person of good breeding. As a husband, he was someone for Saw Khin to love. In that, would Ko Myay Aye be devoted to his wife who was a divorcee mother with a child and be together with her until death? Saw Khin pondered that issue deeply. Would he agreeably take care of her son and mother, grandchild and grandmother, three people? She had to consider that issue.

Another person whom Saw Khin had to think about was U Ba Thein with whom she was friendly when she previously worked at the lighter factory. As for U Ba Thein, he was not an unmarried bachelor. He was a widower of about 40 years old with two children. He was a person who would tolerate Saw Khin's [situation]. U Ba Thein worked as a mechanic at the lighter factory and got about 250 [kyat] per month.

When evaluating the two men in order to decide whom to make her husband, in Saw Khin's heart... Ko Kyay Aye...
