Translation:
From the day when she went [from the job where she got only about 70 kyat per month] to the job where she got 125 kyat [per month, Saw Khin] thought that in this world there was not another young lady as happy as her. Saw Khin was very pleased with the uniform that she had to wear. 'Is it really me?' she thought. From the month that she started the job selling tickets, within two months it did not occur to her that her body was exhausted. She was delighted to be getting about 125 [kyat] each month. She was pleased to be able to eat good curries. She was comforted to be able to have some new clothes sewn for her little son.
Between two and three months when Saw Khin worked it became တစ်မျိုးတမည် and not the same as when she had started the job. Having become တစ်မျိုးတမည်, it was not the case that Saw Khin had become automatically accustomed. The surroundings of her work area created adverse effects of working.
