U Thuzana and Thu Mwe Hta (5)

Translation:

"Venerable monks, please do not return. We disciples will go to No Phyu Monk and Bo Mya and beseech them for you, sirs. Please wait patiently for just a moment, sirs." [the lay disciples said as they] encircled and blocked [the monks].

"It's not possible, patrons. Here, the Sayadaw's order letter clearly gives an order. We must immediately return. Well... he has said for us monks to continue on in accordance with the Sayadaw's order."

And the monks were moving about. All of the lay patrons stood up and were reaching out and tugging at this monk and that monk. When a monk who had been grabbed struggled free they reached out and grabbed another monk. If he got free again, they grabbed another monk. Throughout the whole monastery with the struggling and pulling a "wun wun" sound was cried out. The wailing that was added to the sound of breathing became louder and louder. Jostling and jostling, the crying people could feel no shame. There was sound of shouting and crying.

The Thai journalists who saw the scene which was like that could not help but feel choked up inside. They happened to cry tears. They had come on the off chance that they would get a little bit of news. Because of encountering the present weeping, since they had compassionate hearts, amidst the streams of tears they drifted away from that [original intention for coming]. In whatever way for the journalists, seeing the image of this small world being destroyed they just took in the news. For it was just one piece of ordinary news. No one happened to remember to write down any remarks of this special news of the coming world for the sake of posterity. If [the journalists] had happened to remember, they would have written down and submitted a [news article] of 10,000 words.

As for now, because they could not have expected the events which came to pass they happened to get carried away with the tears of the guests.

Amidst the tugging and struggling, tugging and struggling, the monks reached the bottom of the monastery. Since they did not know any way they could obstruct [the monks], the lay patrons gave up. As for the monks...
